California-based American enterprise cybersecurity company Proofpoint has unveiled a new initiative that seeks to drive greater customer value for its managed security service providers across the “crowded” agentic artificial intelligence market.

The Proofpoint Partner Network seeks to specifically help its partners differentiate and compete in the agentic AI workflows across people, data, and other AI-driven solutions, the company said on Monday.

“The program will enable partners to build and scale security services, including health checks and certified deployment offerings, creating new, high-margin revenue streams,” the company said.

Expansion in the agentic AI market has been a major focus for security vendors, with the market estimated to reach a valuation of $322.39 billion by 2033. This is driven largely by the increase in demand for autonomous AI security systems for threat detection and analysis as cyberattacks become more sophisticated.

With government and corporate employees now sharing sensitive information over generative AI platforms like ChatGPT, securing AI workflows has become a core priority for end-users due to third-party data and privacy risks, said Stan de Boisset, Senior Vice President of global channels at Proofpoint.

With the agentic AI market space becoming increasingly crowded, customers want simplified solutions, de Boisset said.“They don’t want to have point products. They’re looking at the platform and the consolidation, and partners looking at the same thing”.

“We’re coming up now with a new level of investment that is focused around how do we help the customers and partners to be relevant to the customers.”.

The three-tiered partner program, which includes Select, Elite, and Elite+ levels, will offer Proofpoint partners deal protection and expanded opportunities around Proofpoint’s AI-driven platform, the company said.

To support further customer buying, the company is also expanding routes to market through the Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure marketplaces. “Marketplace is one of the means of consumption for customers now,” de Boisset said, “For us, we want to basically meet the customer where they are in the journey.”

Proofpoint is not alone in doubling down on its channel strategy. Several vendors including Cisco and CrowdStrike have recently launched or revamped partner programs with a similar focus on AI integration and platform consolidation. Google Cloud is also set to revamp its partner network in 2026.
