ESET has relaunched its ESET PROTECT business portfolio for channel partners, with AI security features built into every tier.

The launch, announced on Sept. 30, reorganizes the portfolio into three tiers, with new pricing and expanded support for smaller businesses. ESET said the AI security features come with every tier rather than as add-ons. They are designed to reduce the security and compliance blind spots created by shadow AI, where employees adopt AI tools and agents without IT oversight.

The Three ESET PROTECT Tiers

The three tiers are:

  • ESET PROTECT Core: Secures customers’ AI stacks and protects against ransomware, phishing and zero-day threats. Available from five seats.
  • ESET PROTECT Premium: Adds managed detection and response (MDR), with automated threat containment supervised 24/7 by ESET security experts. Available from 10 seats.
  • ESET PROTECT Ultimate: ESET’s highest level of MDR, with live contact with its threat-hunting team, plus threat analysis and remediation. Available from 10 seats.

Optional “Plus” packages at each tier add mail security, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and vulnerability and patch management. Customers can also add guided MDR onboarding, security awareness training, and a cyber warranty from Cysurance with financial coverage of up to $1 million.

“This launch empowers the channel to confidently guide customers in an AI era and defend against zero days with twenty-four-seven monitoring, automated threat containment, AI security features, and real experts behind it,” said Ryan Grant, Country Manager, U.S. and Canada, at ESET North America.

ESET’s Wider AI Security Push

The relaunch follows ESET’s €40 million investment in AI security, announced in May. Speaking on a recent Expert Insights Podcast episode, Juraj Janosik, VP of AI at ESET, said the company is “working on technologies, how to actually make usage of the AI secure,” adding: “The AI is a new perimeter.”

Janosik said that when companies are slow to adopt approved AI tools, employees “try to use whatever they have in the hands to be more effective,” and “then we see that private data are leaked to online chatbots and these platforms.”

“This new portfolio reflects our long-term commitment to closing the AI security gap and ensuring that security remains central to AI innovation,” Grant said.

The new portfolio is available first in the US, Italy and Slovakia, with other markets following in a phased rollout.
