Azure Firewall Premium Overview
Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) is one feature of Azure Firewall Premium. This is achieved through providing signature-based analysis to allow for rapid identification of attacks by identifying patterns of behavior, such as byte sequences in network traffic or known malicious intrusion sequences in malware. These IDPS signatures are fully managed, regularly updated, and applicable for both applications and network level traffic.
